Our story
Circular Payments was founded in 2023 by a group of payment industry veterans who were tired of watching small businesses get squeezed by opaque pricing, hidden fees, and impersonal service.
After decades working at legacy processors and fintech startups, we saw the same problems over and over: confusing rate structures designed to maximize processor profit, customer support that routed you through endless phone trees, and contracts that trapped merchants for years.
We started Circular with a simple question: What if a payment company actually worked for the merchant? That question drives everything we build — from our interchange-plus pricing to our same-day onboarding to our month-to-month agreements.
